About us

Divine Providence in Nicaragua, NFP was created in 2005. The organization is managed by a Board of Trustees which is composed by a group of individuals committed to improving the future of Nicaragua.

So far, Divine Providence in Nicaragua has assisted among others:

An orphanage in El Viejo providing clothes, a transportation vehicle, cell phone equipment, food, etc.
A primary school in Leon providing audio-video and computer equipment for educational purposes
Financial assistance to an orphanage in the city of Matagalpa
Financial aid to several needy families in Managua
Financial aid to the Xalteva church in Granada for use toward poverty relief activities

Nicaragua

Nicaragua is a country located in the middle of the Central American isthmus. It occupies a landmass of 129,000 km² and has a population of 5 million inhabitants. The population is very young, with two million under the age of 14.

How to help

Only with the support of caring contributors can Nicaragua’s youth take root, flourish and realize their full potential in the future.

Every donation counts – one single dollar can feed a child for one day. We can accommodate any size of contribution level - small amounts can be aggregated toward small projects, and large donations can fully finance badly needed infrastructural development. You can then choose the sponsorship level that best suits your willingness and ability to help.
